I have lived in 4 countries which were not my own, the current one being Spain (Valencia). Just before moving here in April 2018, I heard about the services offered by Linda and Janis of ‘Moving to Valencia’ through a friend who came to Spain around 6 months ago; she had made very positive comments, saying how happy she was with Linda and her assistance.

From my 1st contact with Linda, I could see that my friend was absolutely right. The services and assistance that Moving to Valencia offers are quite exceptional. I already speak a little Spanish, possibly even just enough to make my own arrangements with governmental bodies, but immediately felt so much more at ease with Linda’s advice, guidance and physical presence: she took the potential stress out of everything with her experience, fluent Spanish, patience and in-depth knowledge of how things work (and don’t work) here.

It can be very daunting moving to a new country, trying to officially register for anything and set up various appointments, anything from choosing an internet and mobile phone provider, to necessary ID documentation at the right local government offices, opening the right kind of bank account etc. I soon came to realise that the assistance and ‘hands on’ approach from Linda & Janis was crucial, thorough, very professional & polite.

The result in my case, is that within only 3 months I am already officially resident and have all I need, including a sound health insurance plan, all thanks to the indispensable services that Moving to Valencia offers!

It is hard to know how to adequately sing the praise for Yes Valencia. They constantly went above and beyond the call of duty. From our initial contact, we knew that we had placed ourselves in the right hands. At no time did we feel that our best interests were not the driving force of the process of the relocation to Valencia. Linda and Zanda were always transparent about what to expect and were able to steer us to find what we actually wanted. Even after the purchase of our apartment, they continued to be helpful with helping to address any problems we have encountered. They were always organized and prepared. I don't know how we could have accomplished moving here in such a painless fashion without them. They have even been helpful meeting other expats in our neighborhood. I will forever be grateful for all they have done for my family. You cannot go wrong having Linda and Zanda assist you in your move to Valencia.

From our first Zoom meeting while still in the USA and through all our subsequent meetings with Zanda and Linda here in Valencia, the experience was extremely pleasant, professional, and actually fun. All our questions were answered promptly and we were either personally accompanied to or pointed in the right direction for everything - including our banking needs, dealing with local bureaucracy, internet & phone service, apartment leasing, etc. Our experiences getting our 'padrons' and TIEs were quick, smooth and simple because of their expertise. YES Valencia let us feel confident every step of the way - and allowed us to begin enjoying our new lives in Spain immediately. We highly recommend their services.

Linda and Zanda are absolutely wonderful. Working with them was by far the best decision we made with regards to our move. Finding and signing flat rental and phone contracts, bank agreements, picking phone plans, sorting out our NIE cards, registering with the empadronamiento... all in rapid fire Castillian... would have been nuts without them. We would have had no idea what we were actually agreeing to. They were our advocates and made everything so easy. We really appreciated how reliable and responsive they were, too. It feels great to be settled here. The only sad part about this is that we aren't hanging out with them anymore!

Linda was very helpful and friendly. She answered all our questions and more. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs any help with relocating to Valencia.

Seriously 5 star!!! Or 10 if it was possible!! Linda and her team are AMAZING!! If you are considering moving to Valencia (we are moving from California with our children) you should absolutely consider working with Linda. She saved us so much time and energy and was extremely helpful getting us all set up for our move. Best money spent in a long time. What we accomplished in 2 days together would have taken me 2 months on our own. She was so helpful finding a place to live, schools for our children, really everything we needed help with. The team is incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable, energetic, helpful, and friendly. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I wish I could give MORE THAN 5 stars for the help I received from Zanda at YES Valencia!

Zanda and YES Valencia redefine what “full service” means. You’ll understand after I describe our story: I contacted Zanda in January 2023 because of the very positive comments I read in Facebook groups about her work. Zanda set up a home search schedule for my one-week visit in early March 2023. I asked her to pack the schedule full, and she did! We visited 14 different properties, 4 schools, 2 real estate attorneys, 2 accountants and 1 insurance broker in 5 very full days. Zanda was not only a master of the complicated logistics required to do this, but she also researched each of the properties prior to me seeing them and had even visited many herself. This allowed me to have very efficient meetings with the seller agents and owners and to ask intelligent questions. We made an offer on a property the following week and after the remodel is completed next month it will be our dream home in Valencia.

In addition to helping us find the house and negotiate for it, she connected us with the following professionals:
- An excellent builder who has done high quality work on our 6+ month remodel (we bought a 1940s piso that needed a lot of work)
- Our architect
- Our banker
- Our accountant
- Our real estate attorney

Zanda also helped with all the paperwork required of us to live here after we obtained our non-lucrative visas. I granted her power of attorney so she could deal directly with the house purchase paperwork. She also did all the work to get us our padrons from the ayuntamiento and our TIE cards from the national police. She even accompanied us to the meetings required for these. She arranged all our utilities for us. Oh, and she translated for us at the property purchase closing at the notario’s office.

I have had the privilege of working with some very positive people who are very detail oriented and can make things happen. Zanda is at the top of the list of these people. She is an excellent and proactive communicator. You will never be surprised or have to “ping” her. She thinks ahead and solves problems before they become problems. And she is tireless in making sure that everything is done correctly. She follows up on everything. I don’t think I have ever worked with anyone with the high level of project management and communications skills that Zanda exhibited while working with us.

Another thing I loved about working with YES Valencia is that they are very transparent about their fees and any relationships they have with vendors. Zanda really earned my trust.

Now that we are here in Valencia, I have run into so many people that have worked with Zanda and her sister, Linda, at YES Valencia. And everyone I have spoken with has had a very positive experience. You can add me to that list.
