I have lived in 4 countries which were not my own, the current one being Spain (Valencia). Just before moving here in April 2018, I heard about the services offered by Linda and Janis of ‘Moving to Valencia’ through a friend who came to Spain around 6 months ago; she had made very positive comments, saying how happy she was with Linda and her assistance.

From my 1st contact with Linda, I could see that my friend was absolutely right. The services and assistance that Moving to Valencia offers are quite exceptional. I already speak a little Spanish, possibly even just enough to make my own arrangements with governmental bodies, but immediately felt so much more at ease with Linda’s advice, guidance and physical presence: she took the potential stress out of everything with her experience, fluent Spanish, patience and in-depth knowledge of how things work (and don’t work) here.

It can be very daunting moving to a new country, trying to officially register for anything and set up various appointments, anything from choosing an internet and mobile phone provider, to necessary ID documentation at the right local government offices, opening the right kind of bank account etc. I soon came to realise that the assistance and ‘hands on’ approach from Linda & Janis was crucial, thorough, very professional & polite.

The result in my case, is that within only 3 months I am already officially resident and have all I need, including a sound health insurance plan, all thanks to the indispensable services that Moving to Valencia offers!

It is hard to know how to adequately sing the praise for Yes Valencia. They constantly went above and beyond the call of duty. From our initial contact, we knew that we had placed ourselves in the right hands. At no time did we feel that our best interests were not the driving force of the process of the relocation to Valencia. Linda and Zanda were always transparent about what to expect and were able to steer us to find what we actually wanted. Even after the purchase of our apartment, they continued to be helpful with helping to address any problems we have encountered. They were always organized and prepared. I don't know how we could have accomplished moving here in such a painless fashion without them. They have even been helpful meeting other expats in our neighborhood. Seriously 5 star!!! Or 10 if it was possible!! Linda and her team are AMAZING!! If you are considering moving to Valencia (we are moving from California with our children) you should absolutely consider working with Linda. She saved us so much time and energy and was extremely helpful getting us all set up for our move. Best money spent in a long time. What we accomplished in 2 days together would have taken me 2 months on our own. She was so helpful finding a place to live, schools for our children, really everything we needed help with. The team is incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable, energetic, helpful, and friendly. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Working with Moving To Valencia made our move from the US a breeze. Absolutely the best decision!!! I cannot recommend Linda and Zanda enough. They are just really great people. They helped us with apartment viewings, signing the lease, getting bank accounts set up and finalizing our residency cards. They made the process so easy and stress free. I cannot imagine having done everything with out them. I have spoken with several other expats since our move that did the process on their own and they all say how hard it was. I feel bad telling them how easy it was for us.

We highly recommend Linda, Zanda, and Janis with YES Valencia! What a highly professional, organized, motivated, helpful, efficient team. We moved from the United States to Valencia this summer and couldn't have done it without YES Valencia. It's already stressful moving between countries, especially when you don't know the local language. But YES Valencia made it seem like such a smooth transition and we are so unbelievably grateful to them for everything they did for us.

Linda helped guide us along the way from day one. She was an invaluable resource for everything related to the visa process through to arriving here and getting us settled. Before we even got on a plane, Linda helped us communicate with past clients of hers so that we could ask many questions. She even helped organize a large van to pick us up from the airport in Valencia- all five of us, and 10 pieces of luggage!

Once we were in Valencia, Linda came with us to all our appointments, translating and guiding us with everything from setting up our bank accounts, finding an apartment to rent, leasing a car, finding and registering our children at school, and opening up our mobile phone accounts. Linda and Zanda are very knowledgable on the real estate market here and were instrumental in finding us a great place to call home. They have numerous contacts in Valencia within the real estate market.

Linda, Zanda, and Janis have become wonderful friends. They have also introduced us to a community of international people who are helping us find our way in this new, exciting, and amazing city. It goes without saying that we could have never pulled this off without YES Valencia.

It was very easy with Linda and Zanda to go from all the needed documents to live in Spain, rent a flat and finally to purchase our first house. The idea of relocating to Spain was an exciting concept. Executing the plan was so much more involved than we could have imagined. Don't get me started on the trials and tribulations of doing everything during the Covid outbreak.
Fortunately, Linda, Yanis and Zanda guided us through the process and continued to assist us on time-sensitive issues after we arrived in Spain. Given that moving from the San Francisco Bay Area was a logistical challenge, it was also emotionally difficult to leave family and friends. The "Yes Valencia" team came to our rescue, not only with practical guidance but also with much needed positive energy that got us to the finish line. We can't thank them enough but we will try.
