I have lived in 4 countries which were not my own, the current one being Spain (Valencia). Just before moving here in April 2018, I heard about the services offered by Linda and Janis of ‘Moving to Valencia’ through a friend who came to Spain around 6 months ago; she had made very positive comments, saying how happy she was with Linda and her assistance.

From my 1st contact with Linda, I could see that my friend was absolutely right. The services and assistance that Moving to Valencia offers are quite exceptional. I already speak a little Spanish, possibly even just enough to make my own arrangements with governmental bodies, but immediately felt so much more at ease with Linda’s advice, guidance and physical presence: she took the potential stress out of everything with her experience, fluent Spanish, patience and in-depth knowledge of how things work (and don’t work) here.

It can be very daunting moving to a new country, trying to officially register for anything and set up various appointments, anything from choosing an internet and mobile phone provider, to necessary ID documentation at the right local government offices, opening the right kind of bank account etc. I soon came to realise that the assistance and ‘hands on’ approach from Linda & Janis was crucial, thorough, very professional & polite.

The result in my case, is that within only 3 months I am already officially resident and have all I need, including a sound health insurance plan, all thanks to the indispensable services that Moving to Valencia offers!

I cannot thank Zanda and Linda enough for their help finding our home in Valencia. Not only were they extremely knowledgeable about the nuances of local housing market, they also took the time to get to know us and fully understand our needs and priorities. They were also candid with their opinions and closely observed our reactions the first few properties we saw. Because of this, they were able to quickly find the perfect home for us, one that had never been on our radar despite the weeks we spent “shopping” on the real estate sites. Then they guided us through each step of the purchase process, resulting in a clean closing ahead of schedule. I will absolutely use them again if the need arises and can recommend them without hesitation to anyone who is looking to move to Valencia and purchase property here. The idea of relocating to Spain was an exciting concept. Executing the plan was so much more involved than we could have imagined. Don't get me started on the trials and tribulations of doing everything during the Covid outbreak.
Fortunately, Linda, Yanis and Zanda guided us through the process and continued to assist us on time-sensitive issues after we arrived in Spain. Given that moving from the San Francisco Bay Area was a logistical challenge, it was also emotionally difficult to leave family and friends. The "Yes Valencia" team came to our rescue, not only with practical guidance but also with much needed positive energy that got us to the finish line. We can't thank them enough but we will try. How do you even begin to say thank you. We moved to Valencia in November last year and Linda, Janis and Zanda have made our transition seamless or at least seamless. From my first Skype call with Linda, she had a way to make me feel at ease about our move. We have had a few problems in finding the right house but without their help I would have been a crying heap on the floor. They assisted us in finding a school for our son, arranged for bank accounts and utilities and drove us around house hunting always with a smile on their faces. Having my own relocation business here in Valencia technically we should be rivals however the truth is far from it! At YES Valencia they always put the client first and provide an excellent service which I have witness first hand on several occasions. The team are professional, tenacious and what i like most, they also like to have a good time. Seriously 5 star!!! Or 10 if it was possible!! Linda and her team are AMAZING!! If you are considering moving to Valencia (we are moving from California with our children) you should absolutely consider working with Linda. She saved us so much time and energy and was extremely helpful getting us all set up for our move. Best money spent in a long time. What we accomplished in 2 days together would have taken me 2 months on our own. She was so helpful finding a place to live, schools for our children, really everything we needed help with. The team is incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable, energetic, helpful, and friendly. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
