YES Valencia

It is difficult to find words to express how grateful we are to YES Valencia, to Zanda and Linda. First, they communicated with us for an entire year before our move to Spain. When we arrived, they guided us through every single step to make sure our transition was smooth, and when it got rocky, which it is bound to do, they stepped in with their amazing, problem-solving skills, professionalism, quick thinking, and calming and delightful personalities to smooth the road. I unequivocally give Yes Valencia my highest recommendation. I wish I could give them 100 stars, five is just too little.

Linda and Janis of Moving to Valencia both helped on several occasions with my move to Valencia. Due to a rather unique situation it was not easy, but Linda found a way to make it work. They also have a big network of people to kickstart your life in Valencia. And last but not least, Linda and Janis are not only professional but also very friendly people! I could not recommend them enough.

Zanda is amazing! We were so thankful that she came recommended. In the end we had our whole move settled and our friends who did the process themselves actually paid more and spent hours doing it. She made everything so quick and easy. Thank you Zanda!

Linda was extremely kind and helpful to me, outlining exactly what I needed to do to gain residency in Spain (which can seem like a complicated process; what documents I needed, how to get them, how to organise an appointment...) She even recommended a tax advisor! Her prices are very reasonable compared to other gestors and lawyers in Valencia, so if you've just arrived and need help with the complexities of the system, you should e-mail Linda right away.

After all the time, paperwork and expense obtaining a residency visa via the Spanish consulate in New York, I wanted to make sure that I completed the process correctly here in Spain. I did some online research and contacted a few local services, including Moving to Valencia. From the onset I was duly impressed with Linda's reply which unlike other responses I got was specifically detailed as to my particular needs, with an exact quote tailored accordingly. As a copywriter I'm all about communication, and as a New Yorker I expect expediency - Linda delivered on both counts. What's more, she had a friendly, reassuring tone that was most welcomed as a newbie in a new country. She set up the necessary appointments in an accommodating manner and took care of all the requisite paperwork so that everything went as smoothly as can be. What's more, meeting Linda in person proved a genuine pleasure. Having now received my residency card I can confidently say that "Moving to Valencia" indeed made my settling into this wonderful city all the more easy and enjoyable. I definitely plan to call on their services again when it's time to renew my residency. Highly recommended!

How do you even begin to say thank you. We moved to Valencia in November last year and Linda, Janis and Zanda have made our transition seamless or at least seamless. From my first Skype call with Linda, she had a way to make me feel at ease about our move. We have had a few problems in finding the right house but without their help I would have been a crying heap on the floor. They assisted us in finding a school for our son, arranged for bank accounts and utilities and drove us around house hunting always with a smile on their faces. Linda and Zanda are absolutely wonderful. Working with them was by far the best decision we made with regards to our move. Finding and signing flat rental and phone contracts, bank agreements, picking phone plans, sorting out our NIE cards, registering with the empadronamiento... all in rapid fire Castillian... would have been nuts without them. We would have had no idea what we were actually agreeing to. They were our advocates and made everything so easy. We really appreciated how reliable and responsive they were, too. It feels great to be settled here. The only sad part about this is that we aren't hanging out with them anymore!

We relocated our family from Canada to Valencia in July 2022. When starting to plan for our move 6 - 8 months ago, we did not know where to start and knew we needed some help.
