My family and I are beyond impressed and forever grateful with the services Yes Valencia offered! It was very easy with Linda and Zanda to go from all the needed documents to live in Spain, rent a flat and finally to purchase our first house. It is difficult to find words to express how grateful we are to YES Valencia, to Zanda and Linda. First, they communicated with us for an entire year before our move to Spain. When we arrived, they guided us through every single step to make sure our transition was smooth, and when it got rocky, which it is bound to do, they stepped in with their amazing, problem-solving skills, professionalism, quick thinking, and calming and delightful personalities to smooth the road. From the moment we first met, now more than a year ago, Linda and Zanda have guided us through our complicated move to Valencia from NYC, including purchase of property and connecting us with some of the best professionals around (attorneys, notaries, bankers, etc.). Zanda and YES Valencia redefine what “full service” means. You’ll understand after I describe our story: I contacted Zanda in January 2023 because of the very positive comments I read in Facebook groups about her work. Zanda set up a home search schedule for my one-week visit in early March 2023. I asked her to pack the schedule full, and she did! We visited 14 different properties, 4 schools, 2 real estate attorneys, 2 accountants and 1 insurance broker in 5 very full days. Zanda was not only a master of the complicated logistics required to do this, but she also researched each of the properties prior to me seeing them and had even visited many herself. This allowed me to have very efficient meetings with the seller agents and owners and to ask intelligent questions. We made an offer on a property the following week and after the remodel is completed next month it will be our dream home in Valencia.

In addition to helping us find the house and negotiate for it, she connected us with the following professionals:
- An excellent builder who has done high quality work on our 6+ month remodel (we bought a 1940s piso that needed a lot of work)
- Our architect
- Our banker
- Our accountant
- Our real estate attorney

Zanda also helped with all the paperwork required of us to live here after we obtained our non-lucrative visas. I granted her power of attorney so she could deal directly with the house purchase paperwork. She also did all the work to get us our padrons from the ayuntamiento and our TIE cards from the national police. She even accompanied us to the meetings required for these. She arranged all our utilities for us. Oh, and she translated for us at the property purchase closing at the notario’s office.

I have had the privilege of working with some very positive people who are very detail oriented and can make things happen. Zanda is at the top of the list of these people. She is an excellent and proactive communicator. You will never be surprised or have to “ping” her. She thinks ahead and solves problems before they become problems. And she is tireless in making sure that everything is done correctly. She follows up on everything. I don’t think I have ever worked with anyone with the high level of project management and communications skills that Zanda exhibited while working with us.

Another thing I loved about working with YES Valencia is that they are very transparent about their fees and any relationships they have with vendors. Zanda really earned my trust.

Now that we are here in Valencia, I have run into so many people that have worked with Zanda and her sister, Linda, at YES Valencia. And everyone I have spoken with has had a very positive experience. You can add me to that list.

The whole team at YES Valencia - Linda, Zanda, and Janis, are amazing! They helped us find the perfect apartment much faster than we expected. They also handled utility setups, contracts, city hall registration and visa processing quickly and with ease. After all the time, paperwork and expense obtaining a residency visa via the Spanish consulate in New York, I wanted to make sure that I completed the process correctly here in Spain. I did some online research and contacted a few local services, including Moving to Valencia. From the onset I was duly impressed with Linda's reply which unlike other responses I got was specifically detailed as to my particular needs, with an exact quote tailored accordingly. As a copywriter I'm all about communication, and as a New Yorker I expect expediency - Linda delivered on both counts. What's more, she had a friendly, reassuring tone that was most welcomed as a newbie in a new country. She set up the necessary appointments in an accommodating manner and took care of all the requisite paperwork so that everything went as smoothly as can be. What's more, meeting Linda in person proved a genuine pleasure. Having now received my residency card I can confidently say that "Moving to Valencia" indeed made my settling into this wonderful city all the more easy and enjoyable. I definitely plan to call on their services again when it's time to renew my residency. Highly recommended!

Linda and her team were fundamental for my successful move to Valencia. They helped me in all aspects, showing also the best way to overcome all the challenges we met. When you meet another expat from the USA in Valencia about three sentences into the conversation this frequently gets said, “You used Yes Valencia? I did too. I love them! They’re the best!” I have never heard anything other than rave reviews about them from the six or more people I’ve met that engaged them to assist with their Valencia moves. In my experience Yes Valencia are consummate professionals and are:
• Very very very good at what they do.
• Very organized and structured in the way they do it.
• Very flexible if and when your plans or situation change. I had a major change of plans after arriving and they rolled with it, no problem.
• Very aware of the current status of things regarding the pandemic, government regulations and procedures, the housing market, etc.
• Very up front about the costs. After an initial interview/conversation, they gave me an estimate. I gave them a deposit and then paid the balance when all services were complete, and I was happily squared away. They adjusted the cost down due to my change of plans.
• Very transparent as to how they work with you and the various entities they engage on your behalf.
• Very “got your back” by vigilantly keeping an eye on things and always acting in your best interest.
There are other people/organizations that provide similar services here in Valencia. I have not worked with any of them, so I can’t speak from experience, but I can say this: I have heard good things about one of them and I have heard horrible things about another. This I do know: You cannot go wrong with Yes Valencia. I would suggest you do not wait until the last minute to contact them. It’s likely you will need to engage them and get your move on their calendar well in advance of needing their services. Though they have remained busy through most of the pandemic (I was planning to arrive May 1st. I thought I was going to have to start over post-pandemic, but with their help and encouragement I got here in September.), I would imagine that demand for their services is going to go up as things return to normal.
